All of the Highland Heroes awards are special and recognise inspiring individuals and groups who contribute so much to their communities.

But on awards night, there is one Hero that shines the brightest.

From all of your winners, a hero of heroes will be chosen by the judges and presented with the ultimate accolade at the ceremony.

Wind2 is sponsoring the hero of heroes award.

“Wind2 takes immense pride in sponsoring the hero of heroes award at the Highland Heroes awards 2024. As a specialist renewable energy developer, Wind2 is dedicated to helping the UK move towards a net-zero future. The hero of heroes accolade resonates with our ethos; celebrating individuals whose extraordinary efforts align with our commitment to delivering community benefits for every project undertaken. Wind2 recognises the importance of acknowledging those who embody the spirit of heroism, and as such, we are honoured to celebrate these champions.”

There is still time to nominate your heroes in all of the main categories.

Once all of your nominations are received, our judges will whittle down the submissions to create a shortlist. The shortlist will be announced in a special supplement next year where you can vote for your Highland Heroes 2024.

The ceremony will be held at the Drumossie Hotel, Inverness on March 15, 2024.
