They may be our youngest students but primary pupils are pretty amazing!

Not only do they do their schoolwork, make new friends and develop their social skills and personalities at primary school, many of them fundraise and volunteer for charities and local groups, or raise awareness about serious issues; from the environment to mental health ‒ where do they find the time!?

Highland Heroes celebrates these inspiring youngsters with the primary school pupil of the year award.

The recipient will be a primary school pupil who has achieved something beyond expectations in education, sport or helping others at school, or have proved themselves to be an ambassador for the school.

NOMINATE at https://www.hnmedia.co.uk/highlandheroes/ by December 17 in any of the categories.

Business owners Amber Rickard and Kevin Mackenzie said the business was fully behind the awards: “We loved being involved with Highland Heroes last time around and we’re looking forward to hearing about the amazing local people that make such a difference in their communities. We’re thrilled to sponsor the award for primary pupil of the year. Many of our youngest students do so much on top of their school work ‒ they fundraise, volunteer, support their classmates ‒ remarkable at such a young age!

“We would encourage everyone to get behind the campaign, nominate their primary pupils of the year, and celebrate their fantastic efforts!”
