ALMOST 1000 people were dazzled by two sell-out Easter Ross dance shows performed by children who have been perfecting their moves for months.

Alness-based DNA Dance caters for children ages 3-plus through classes run on Saturdays at the Capstone Centre.

Its goal is to provide affordable and accessible dance classes.

DNA dance teachers Alan Banner and Natalie Hamilton stage an annual show in September with a daytime and evening show in addition to appearances throughout the year at local events.

Serena Dunnett said: "On behalf of myself and all parents we would like to thank Alan and Natalie for the love and passion they put in to dance class week in week out for all of our children. It is such an honour to have this dance club in our little town of Alness. It gives the children an opportunity to shine, grow and become confident individuals and to also be part of the most amazing fun dance group that we could ask for.

"They are all superstars performing to an audience of almost 500.

"They have also committed this next 12 months to even more fun and more dancing for next years show, 'Neverland'. We can't wait!"
