Ullapool locals came together to fix a renowned local artist's studio, after her roof was blown off during severe winds over the last few days.
Mairearad Green is a renowned local artist and musician, who was in Glasgow gearing up to play at Celtic Connection when she heard the news that the roof of her studio had blown off during the fierce winds seen in Wester Ross.

However, locals were quick to come to the studio's rescue while Mairearad was so many miles away.
Mairearad said: "I can't thank folk enough for all the help with my studio roof! I am so overwhelmed by the level of support there's been to store my artwork, and get the roof back on.
"What an amazing community – feeling very lucky to live here."
The roof was first spotted flying about on Argyll St in Ullapool on January 28, during severe weather conditions that saw dozens fallen trees and transport cancellations.
The gales also wreaked havoc further north in Assynt, where a wildfire engulfed more than five miles of land in just a couple of hours.
