Torridon Mountain Rescue Team (MRT) were called out on Saturday (March 2) after two climbers took a tumble on the descent of the Black Carls on Beinn Eighe.

The MRT said on their Facebook page: "Saturday evening saw the team called out to a well-equipped party requiring assistance after taking a tumble on the descent of the Black Carls on Beinn Eighe.

"With darkness closing in, a small team were uplifted by R151 from Inverness up on to the ridge to assist. A gap in the cloud allowed a swift rescue off the hill with the winch, avoiding the need for a long and protracted stretcher carry off the hill. We wish the casualty all the best with their recovery."
