And back across the border into Scotland.

INTREPID cyclists tackling a gruelling John O'Groats to Land's End and back challenge for RNLI Invergordon have made it back across the Scottish border.

Greg Drew and Norman Agnew took on the challenge for the volunteer lifesavers after the famous Strathpuffer 24-hour challenge was cancelled because of coronavirus.

They are keen to repay a debt of gratitude to the local RNLI stalwarts who help out behind the scenes at the Strathpeffer event in addition to their year-round efforts saving lives at sea.

They set themselves a target of completing the effort there and back challenge within 12 days and have recrossed the border at the beginning of day 10.

Their Two Wheel Ordeal page posted: "The only way is up from here!"

Their effort has to date secured pledges of over £6300.
