AN Easter Ross community group is issuing an open invitation to a special seasonal event that will provide a welcome boost to Highland Hospice.

Evanton Social and Events Group is hosting an annual Christmas celebration carol service in the village’s Parish Church on Friday, December 9 from 7pm.

The event, at which donations for the hospice will be invited at the door, promises a mixture of music and carols to help people get into the festive spirit while supporting a worthy cause.

The group is keen to invite anyone interested to turn up on the evening and help continue its tradition of helping out good causes.
