A PROMINENT A9 landmark in Easter Ross was transformed through lights in a show of solidarity with front line NHS staff.

A Ross-shire 'trail' of support with buildings being lit NHS blue as a symbolic show of public appreciation during the coronavirus public health crisis has already seen the Co-op in Invergordon High Street and Kincraig Castle Hotel temporarily transformed.

On Saturday night, it was the turn of Rosskeen Free Church, which sits prominently next to the A9 north of Alness.

The show was organised by Invergordon-based Prism Event Lighting.

Keith Bauer of the Prism approached Rosskeen Free Church minister Calum MacMillan who himself has family members in the NHS.

Mr Bauer said: "He was delighted for the church to show its appreciation in this way.We are slowly working our way from Invergordon towards Dingwall on our wee adventure."

The business is sharing its exploits on social media after the events but is not giving advance notice so as to abide by social distancing guidelines.
