ROSS County Football Club is set to stage a Christmas market today following the success of similar events last year.

The Dingwall club’s event will run on Saturday, December 4 from 10am to 3pm with free parking on offer at the Global Energy Stadium.

Some 30 stalls have been arranged inside with six food stalls outside.

Also planned is afternoon tea in Staggies Bar from noon until 4pm where there will be the opportunity to add prosecco or a glass of mulled wine.

Stalls planned for the event include Mieles Gelateria, James Support Group, Highland Hospice, Loch Ness Honey, Culbokie Cake Fairies, Great Glen Distillery and Gillian Taylor Photography.

Arts and crafts, knitting and beauty items also feature.

It promises to be another busy weekend for Ross-shire’s county town which last week hosted a major charity auction at the local mart.

Last year’s fair at Ross County FC – carried out with virus restrictions in mind – was voted a great success with visitors from across the Highlands paying a visit to boost many local businesses.
