FANS of an award-winning Ross-shire writer will get the chance to meet her and get signed copies of her latest book in Ullapool.

Ullapool Bookshop will welcome Scottish historical fiction author S G MacLean to sign copies of her new novel, The Bookseller of Inverness.

The signing and meet and greet takes place on Friday, August 12 from 2-3pm.

The Bookseller of Inverness is described as a gripping new thriller set in Inverness in 1752, six years after the crushing defeat of the Jacobites at Culloden and sets the scene around one of the men who escaped with his life (Iain MacGillivray) in Inverness.

This is a fast-paced thriller which introduces some fascinating and intriguing characters along the way with twists and turns as the body count grows. S G MacLean will be meeting customers and signing copies of her novels in Ullapool Bookshop on Quay Street.
