Ross County have seen a sixth player agree a new contract as Jordan White becomes the latest to extend his stay in Dingwall.

The striker joined in January 2021 and put in a string of impressive performances last season, including four goals, to help the Staggies stay in the top flight.

Covid-19 set him back slightly at the start of the current campaign and still only has four goals to his name, but in recent weeks White has increasingly earned plaudits for his work rate off the ball as County rose into the Premiership's top six – also sitting joint-third in the league's assist table.

It has been a busy day at Victoria Park, with new deals agreed for three of the club's brightest prospects, Ross Munro and Jordan Tillson as well, and White is the latest to commit his future to the club on a two-year deal.

“We are really happy to have re-signed Jordan for Ross County," club manager Malky Mackay told the club's website.

"Everybody can see what he adds to us, not just in terms of scoring but his work rate, being a focal point at the top end of the pitch and his assist rate this season has been fabulous.

“Again, Jordan is a senior player in the dressing room who sets standards and wants to help push the club forward and those are key attributes we look for in our players. Jordan has been brilliant since joining the club and it was only right that we recognise and reward his contributions.”
