Ryan MacLeman has become the latest Ross County teenager to go out on loan, signing for League Two side Elgin City.

MacLeman was at Forres Mechanics in the Highland League last season, making over 30 appearances alongside fellow young Staggie Connall Ewan at Mosset Park.

"Ryan had a successful loan spell in the Highland League last season and this is the next step in his development," County boss Malky Mackay said.

"It is vitally important that we have a pathway for our talented young players. I am looking forward to watching Ryan test himself in League Two."

MacLeman's short-term move follows similar deals for George Robeston and Andrew Macleod, who both signed for Nairn County earlier this week.
