Two of Ross County's youngsters who featured in pre-season have joined Nairn County on loan.

Andrew Macleod and George Robeston both played in the friendlies against Nairn and Queen's Park, and have now moved to Station Park on a short-term deal until January.

Staggies manager Malky Mackay had said last weekend that a number of the teenagers involved in Dingwall would be heading out on loan after the success of temporary moves last season.

Robeston saw an opportunity to head out in the 2022/23 campaign scuppered by injury, but Macleod did feature for Clachnacuddin and Brora Rangers before his season was also ended early by injury.

Both teenagers will now be hoping that regular game time will help kick their development on to the next level under the stewardship of former County player Sid Mackay, who is manager at Nairn.
