DINGWALL supermarket shoppers getting their messages were given a message of their own from Ross County FC captain Jack Baldwin.

The Staggies' skipper popped in to the local Tesco store on Friday to back the Show Racism the Red Card campaign.

The campaign run by the anti-racism educational football charity, Show Racism the Red Card, is backed by shopworkers' union, Usdaw.

With October 20 branded National Wear Red Day, the union teamed up with the charity asking everyone to wear red on that day to show their opposition to racism.

Tesco community champion Michelle Mackay said: "We very kindly had a visit from Ross County first team player Jack Baldwin to show support and back the campaign.
