Shelter erection is a real team effort

It said: "We are looking for a volunteer or volunteers who would like to look after the five planters by the Village Pump in Culbokie, opposite the Inn. At the moment they’re looking very pretty but unfortunately this won’t last for very long.

"The planters opposite the Culbokie Inn require to be maintained and the surrounding area kept tidy. The tubs require to be planted up two or three times per year and watered during dry periods.

"The adjacent area needs to be weeded or sprayed with weed-killer to keep the weeds down and looking tidy.

"If you would like to take this on you won’t be expected to pay for plants, compost and weed-killer or any other consumables and will be able to claim the costs for these back from Culbokie Community Trust who have a small budget for this."

The group has a presence on Facebook.
