TWO pals inspired by the Invergordon RNLI team to pedal from John O'Groats to Land's End – and back – are on their way.

Greg Drew and Norman Agnew are on the move after setting out at 6am and have already made a stop at Wick RNLI en route.

They plan completing the epic challenge in 12 days, returning to the Far North of Scotland almost immediately after arrival at Land's End.

With the gruelling Strathpuffer 24-hour challenge cancelled because of Covid, they decided to take on something even tougher for a cause close to their hearts.

Impressed by the help given by the Invergordon crew at the Strathpeffer event, they committed earlier this year to the challenge.
