A ROSS-SHIRE shinty club whose players' epic Camanachd Cup-winning exploits earlier this year raised them to local hero status still have plenty to celebrate.

Kinlochshiel Shinty Club, based at Rearaig, became the toast of Lochalsh and beyond when it won the sport's most treasured prize in September this year by beating Lovat in Oban.

Celebrations went on for days – and they're still going with the club's dinner dance lined up for a week on Saturday.

However the closing date to buy tickets for the dinner is this Saturday (November 20) with just a few remaining.

The c;ub billed it as a chance "to celebrate together the fantastic season we have just had".

Tickets for the dance alone can be bought on the door.

The event will be hosted at Dornie Hall on Saturday, November 27 with the Cast Ewe Ceilidh Band lined up to entertain revellers.

Details of tickets can be found on the club's social media channels.
