UPDATE: Police statement about five-vehicle A9 collision

Police and other emergency services were called to the A9 this morning following a collision at Tore roundabout.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Around 6.30am on Thursday, 12 January, 2023, officers were called to reports of a crash involving five vehicles on the A9 near the Tore Roundabout.

"Emergency services attended and closed the road while recovery was arranged. The road reopened around 8.30am."

It is understood there were no serious injuries resulting from the incident.
