Traffic on the A9 was restricted at Tore earlier this morning due to a collision.

Traffic Scotland shared the news via social media at 7.13am.

A spokesman said it was at Tore roundabout and added: "The Northbound carriageway is currently restricted due to a collision. Police are in attendance. Take care on approach."

The spokesman later said at 7.57am that on the northbound carriageway one lane was open but the carriageway remained restricted while the southbound carriageway was fully open with police still in attendance.

And by 8.35am the carriageway was fully open in both directions but traffic was still busy in the area but slowly returning to normal.
