After a notification to Police Scotland about the issue, the tree was cleared at approximately 12.15pm by the Highland Council.

The Highland Council have said that while the road is now passable, drivers must still take extra care as the route is affected by snow.

With a yellow weather warning from the Met Office for Storm Gerrit on Wednesday, December 27, impacts have been seen across the Highlands.
