Tours to start at notorious Boleskine House on shores of Loch Ness in the Highlands

Tours of a notorious historic house overlooking Loch Ness will begin from tomorrow.
Boleskine House, which previously owned by occultist Aleister Crowley and Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page, was badly damaged by a blaze in 2015 and again in 2019.
The property near Foyers is now being restored by a charity, the Boleskine House Foundation.
It is opening for self-guided audio tours during limited hours throughout the summer.

Aleister Crowley was notorious in the late 19th Century and early 20th Century for his promotion of the occult.
He was said to have performed occultist rituals at the property when he lived there between 1899 and 1913. He died in 1947.
Musician Jimmy Page bought Boleskine House in the 1970s but later sold it.
The Boleskine House Foundation aims to restore and preserve the historical legacy and heritage of the estate.

The Boleskine House estate is under 24-hour CCTV and has a zero-tolerance policy for unauthorised entry.
