Police suspected a Ross-shire man was in possession of drugs and recovered two wraps of cocaine weighing a total of 0.6 grams.

Kieran Sehar (25), of Ardival Court, Strathpeffer, appeared at Inverness Sheriff Court and admitted the offence which occurred on July 30, 2022 in Rosehaugh Road, Inverness.

Defending, Graham Mann said his client was currently on a drug treatment and testing order and "is doing quite well."

He added: "He has had difficulties with drugs for the last year and a half but is devoting his time to addressing his difficulties."

Sheriff Ian Cruickshank ordered Sehar to carry out 65 hours of unpaid work due to his limited income.
