St Clement's School in Dingwall set to reopen tomorrow after heating and power issue, Highland Council confirms

A ROSS-SHIRE school closed today on the first day of a new term due to a heating and power issue will re-open tomorrow (Tuesday) it has been confirmed.

As earlier reported, St Clement's special school in Dingwall did not open today due to having no heating and power.

A Highland Council spokeswoman said this afternoon that the school is expected to open again tomorrow.

It wasn't the only school in Highland Council's large area that was affected today.

Rum Primary and its associated nursery were also closed.

No specific reason was listed on the Highland Council website.
