Dingwall cafe opens for Christmas Day: 'No booking needed. Just come along for some food and company'
A DINGWALL community cafe is throwing its doors open to locals on Christmas Day.
Sheila's Cafe, which is next to Dryburgh Cycles on the town's Tulloch Street, is open for food on the big day, it says.
It posted: "No booking needed. Just come along for some food and company.
"Have some soup, turkey and ham stovies."
It expects to be open from 10am until 2pm.
One local commenting on social media said: "Amazing and selfless! Well done and a very Happy Christmas."

Christmas came early last December for activists behind Sheila’s Community Café after the group Community Support and Information Ross-shire (CSIR) secured a National Lottery award of £73,354 in a round of funding.
Kate Still of The National Lottery Community Fund said at the time: "The connections we have to our family, friends and the wider community makes us feel we are not so alone and that we are part of something bigger. The strength and comfort that we draw from this will be important for us all as we face some challenging times ahead.”
