Black Isle Horticultural Society cancels August show in Rosemarkie

Black Isle Horticultural Society has confirmed its planned 2020 August show to be have been held in The Gordon Memorial Hall in Rosemarkie has been cancelled.

It joins a long list of annual events to have falled foul of the coronavirus crisis.

The group told members: "We do think there are some things that we can do online – for example, we can probably run the photo and botanical illustration classes, and we may be able to adapt some of the other classes so that they can also be run online.

"We’ll be thinking more about this over the next few weeks, and we’ll let you know our plans. If you’ve got any bright ideas about what we could do, please let us know!"
