AN Easter Ross care home continued its carry on regardless trend during coronavirus by staging its own alternative to Wimbledon.

While the world-famous tennis tournament joined a long list of events cancelled as a result of the Covid-19 crisis, Innis Mhor in Tain staged its own fun event.

Residents at the Tain care home enjoyed strawberries and cream and Pimm’s, a favourite summer tipple associated with the tennis tournament.

The care home also produced a Tik Tok video with its sister care facility, Netherha in Buckie, which held its own tennis contest.

It was the latest in a series of fun summer events at the home designed to entertain residents during the lockdown.

It followed a music festival and a Highland Games, both with socially distanced live entertainment.
