THE talents of local photographers have put the stunning charms of the Easter Ross peninsula in the frame.
Tain and District online camera club ran the Autumn on the Peninsula competition.
The theme and the idea for the competition came from Tain and District Development Trust and was kindly supported by Alister Bowie and the team at Fforde’s Photographic in Beauly.
A prize fund of £50, donated by the trust, together with a basket of goodies from Ffordes was offered.
The shortlisted photos were scored independently by Rachel Cunningham, marketing officer at the trust, and photographer Mark Janes. Rachel was looking at the images from a travel/tourism perspective while Mark took a broad view combining technical quality, artistic merit and interpretation of the theme.
In first place, winning £25 and a selection of Ffordes goodies, was Arron Ebden.
In second place, winning £15, was Michelle Saunders. Third place, winning £10, was Maxine Stevens.
