CHILDREN have enjoyed a week-long play scheme in Alness.

Organised by The Place, Alness, youngsters enjoyed meeting exotic animals, making tie dye t-shirts as well as learning circus skills.

The Place, which recently moved its HQ to The Field for the majority of its children and young person's clubs, is running sessions throughout the summer holidays.
A spokeswoman for The Place said: "Scottish Exotic Animal Rescue came along to show our youngsters some great exotic animals, and Trapeze Entertainment to teach us some amazing circus skills!

"Massive thanks to both of these providers for giving our youngsters a great fun day."

She continued: "We are very excited to be in a position to provide many great opportunities for our youngsters this summer!

"The Place has worked very hard to secure funding to enable our local youngsters to have access to this amazing programme. We want to thank the many funders who have contributed and made this possible.

"If you have any questions regarding our programme, please contact us via our Facebook page or on 07789 619591."
