THE school community surrounding a Wester Ross secondary pulled together magnificently to ensure an end-of-term dance went with a swing.

Gairloch High School hailed the support of staff, pupils and community as it celebrated another great event.

Acting head teacher Stuart Caddell said: "Our whole school community was involved in the management and delivery of the event with massive input from pupils, parents/carers and staff. Special thanks must go to Mrs Hildrey and the S6 leadership team for their role in pulling everything together."

The school thanked staff, the S6 team, band, parent council and bus drivers "and everyone who pulls together to make the dance happen each year".
