Day 9 – Dingwall Christmas lights 2018

The county town set the clock ticking on its countdown to Christmas at the beginning of December 2018.

A unique metal Christmas tree fabricated by apprentices at Nigg Skills Academy formed a centrepiece of a High Street lights switch-on and torch-lit procession.

There was plenty to entertain with local school choirs, Highland dancers and Feis Rois musicians keeping spirits high in plunging temperatures. The appearance of specially organised reindeer added a festive flavour to proceedings with Santa also making an early appearance.
