As we're facing a very different festive season this year, we decided to take a look back at seasonal pictures and stories from years gone by way of a countdown to Christmas.

Day 4 – LIFESAVERS based in a Lochalsh community were getting ready to push the boat out for one of their biggest fundraisers of the year.

Kyle RNLI’s Santa’s Grotto was set for the lifeboat station with entertainment and refreshments plus sales of Christmas cards and lifeboat souvenirs lined up.

The team had benefited from a number of imaginative fundraisers and had also benefited from an effort by the local Co-op.
