People came together for a chat and entertainment at an inaugural community coffee morning in Inverness city centre.

The Eastgate Shopping Centre is making space available each month for people to connect over a cuppa, engage in meaningful conversations and share stories.

They will take place on the second Wednesday of every month between 9.30am and 10.30am at the centre’s food court.

At the launch event, entertainment and a quiz were provided by Amy Mullen and singer and guitarist Chris Giubarelli.

People attended from far and wide including residents and staff from Fairburn and Seaforth House, Cheery Chesters and Fraser Elite.

Shopmobility Highland supported with transport and Loch & Larder provided refreshments.

The next community gathering is on Wednesday, March 13 when all are welcome.
