Strathpeffer's double silver Paracyclist Fin Graham has been congratulated for his Paralympic success by a Ross-shire MSP.
Caithness, Sutherland and Ross MSP, Maree Todd, has congratulated him for winning the two silver medals for Team GB at the Paralympic Games in Tokyo.
The medals were in both the men’s cycling C1-C3 road race and the C3 3000m individual pursuit – he also had a short stint as world record holder in the latter, before teammate Jaco van Gass stole the title moments later.
Ms Todd said: “It has been a pleasure to watch Fin’s debut at the Paralympic Games, and to see his talent recognised on the world stage.
“Returning two silver medals for Team GB is a phenomenal achievement and Fin could not be more deserving of this success.
“Of course, he had the backing of his home village of Strathpeffer who have been very invested in his Paralympic journey. Fin has certainly done himself, his family, friends and his community proud.
“This is just the beginning of a long and successful career in cycling and I can’t wait to see what Fin goes on to do next.”
