The memory of an Easter Ross woman “who is missed every day” was honoured at a moving celebration of her life that has dealt a welcome boost to a wellbeing charity.

Caroline Kennedy was a community midwife with NHS Highland who delivered hundreds of babies during her career, and sadly passed away in May 2014.

In addition to a memory walk linking Alness and Invergordon, there were family events at Invergordon County Hospital with activities such as a bouncy castle, face painting plus home-baking and music.

£3400 was raised for Mikeysline and there were wise words for anyone who finds themselves struggling.
