Kyle and Lochalsh Community Trust has urged vandals to “spare a thought for our staff” as they appeal for information following a second attack.

Kyle’s public toilets have now been the subject two acts of vandalism in the last month, this time with a soil-filled toilet.

The incident occurred between 2–7pm on Saturday, April 6, and is said to have been reported to the police.

Anyone with any information about the vandalism is being urged to get in touch with the community trust.

Kyle and Lochalsh Community Trust said: “This is the second incident within the space of a month where the community facilities have been subject to acts of vandalism.

“To those responsible, this has been reported to the local police. While it might seem like a bit of a laugh at the time, spare a thought for our staff who show up at an evening to do their job, which is already difficult enough, then walk in to find this.

“Any tips on removing soil from a toilet would be much appreciated.

“If anyone witnessed anything out of the ordinary, or has any information please contact us as soon as possible.”
