Invergordon manager makes her mark in Barcelona with half marathon personal best

AN Easter Ross High Life Highland leisure manager has been breaking records outwith her day job.

Catriona Fraser, HLH’s combined leisure manager for Invergordon Leisure Centre and Alness Leisure Centre, has been hailed for her sporting in her long-distance running efforts.

Hot on the heels of taking second place in the Women’s Title for the Baxter’s River Ness 10k Marathon back in October, Catriona recently set out on a solo trip to Spain to take on the Edreams Barcelona Half Marathon.

She completed the run in 79 minutes and 53 seconds, finishing 64th female out of 9800 – and also achieving a personal best in the process.
