A fundraiser for the family of a young Highland man who died has raised almost £6000 in a matter of days.

Jamie Noble (30) died after a fatal crash on the A9 and has been described as a much-loved fiance and an amazing father.

A JustGiving page was set up by his friend Robert Maclean to support Jamie's fiance Morven and his young son Daniel.

Tributes to Jamie on the page have also poured in.

Helen Campbell wrote: "So so sad RIP Jamie. Heartfelt thoughts to Morven and wee Daniel, Jamie's family and friends."

Christine Graham said: "So utterly heartbreaking. No one should go to work and not come home. Love and thoughts to Jamie, his family & friends from me & my family."

Another wrote: "Such a lovely lad, you will be greatly missed Jamie. Sending our love to Morven and Daniel."
