PEOPLE looking for a new adventure on the Black Isle this year are being put in the picture about volunteering opportunities at a local cinema.

Cromarty Cinema is on the lookout for people who "love good films, good fun and meeting new people".

In its appeal for new volunteers, it said: "The cinema is volunteer owned and operated and we all get involved in everything: helping programme, operating screenings, marketing films and events, managing private hires and supporting special events. Full training is provided and you only have to commit as much time as you would like.
