AN Easter Ross pharmacy was able to prescribe a welcome booster for a local youth group.

Alness Pharnacy on the town's High Street revealed it had raised more than £1200 for its chosen charity – The Place.

The Place is an active and supportive youth group of more than 30 years' standing which serves the young people of Alness.

During the coronavirus crisis, it established an outdoor base at The Field near the town's Teaninich Industrial Estate.

The pharmacy posted: "Thank you to everyone who helped raise funds for this year's chosen charity, The Place.

"We managed to raise a total of £1,214.09, which is amazing. We hope this helps them out in some kind of way. Thank you again from all at Alness Pharmacy and The Place."
