Alness Christmas market will be in a field of its own

AN Easter Ross community has set the scene for a Christmas market on Saturday.

It will take place at The Field in Alness from noon until 5pm.

More than 20 stalls will be in place offering an opportunity to do some Christmas shopping.

Buzzing street fair hailed by volunteers

Adding to the festive scene will be Cairngorm reindeer and Christmas music.

There will also be a chance to have photos taken in Santa's Grotto.

Piper Sam Mackenzie, Primary 1 Christmas singers and DNA Dance are also lined up for the event.
