Police in the Highlands investigate after letter 'W' spray painted on private property at a residential home in Tain

POLICE are calling for witnesses after a property in Tain was vandalised.
The letter "W"' was painted on the front wall of a property on Culpleasant Avenue in the north town.

A police spokesman said: "Police in Tain are appealing for information regarding a property on Culpleasant Avenue, Tain, which was vandalised as the letter "W" was spray painted on the front wall belonging to a local resident.

"It is believed this occurred between the hours of 10pm and 11.30 pm on October 19.

"Did you see anybody acting suspiciously or in a large group during these times?

"Anyone with information in relation to this incident or any similar incidents is asked to contact Police on 101 or via the Police Scotland website quoting 20211026-1228 as their reference.

"Anonymous reports can be made to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
