The temporary store in the town's High Street comes ahead of an expansion of the premises.

The shop at 16-17 High Street will open from 10am on Monday.

Gerry Loughran, property and legal director, said: “We have reached an agreement with the landlord to expand into what was the New Look store, and are creating a Christmas pop-up shop and will be opening on October 25 with a wonderful display of our fantastic value Christmas range.

“In the New Year we will be expanding the current store into the old New Look and investing £500,000 in a beautiful shopping environment.

“Hopefully everybody will love the new store. We are committed to investing into Dingwall and the local community for many years to come.

“The expansion will see more jobs created in the Poundstretcher store and we look forward to welcoming everyone to see the new store in the New Year.”

Marketing manager, Loo Loo Rose, added:

“Poundstretcher have never opened a pop-up store before and are delighted to have this opportunity.

“There is a definite buzz in Dingwall! We feel it is important for the residents of the Dingwall community to still have the familiarity of a local Poundstretcher, where they can continue to pick up the essentials they rely on.”
