Tain Royal Academy is sorting through its lost property box after schools broke up for summer.

AN Easter Ross secondary has gone above and beyond the call of duty to try and reunite lost hoodies with their owners.

Schools across Ross-shire and the wider Highlands broke for the summer holidays last week.

The immediate aftermath of pupils going on is often a time of reckoning for lost property departments with items of uniform often piling up.

Tain Royal Academy today posted it has "lots" of lost hoodies and has even gone to the effort of adding initials where visible to its post to help parents and pupils track down their gear.

It posted: "We have lots of hoodies with initials, in our lost property box. Please get in touch if you are missing one."
