WHEN it comes to a room with a view, two that have been installed at Kincraig Castle Hotel are among the best.

Two glass domes have been installed to the front of the castle overlooking the Cromarty Firth, for guests who want to experience a private dining experience.

The Dine@Dome experience, with heating and personalised music, will be available for small family gatherings at the hotel near Invergordon, or for those wanting to enjoy a romantic meal for two.

Ray Grant, of Kincraid Castle Hotel said: "We’re excited to announce the launch of our 'Dine@Dome Experience at the Kincraig’.

"Our domes are unique in the Highlands and we’ve now installed two domes on our front lawn where guests can enjoy a private dining experience in a safe and secure environment.

"Each dome has a spectacular, uninterrupted view of the surrounding countryside with the Black Isle beyond and the Kincraig as a backdrop.

"Our domes are already proving popular for small family gatherings and groups of friends to celebrate the lifting of the Covid–19 lockdown with up to eight guests for lunch, afternoon tea or dinner.

"The domes are also ideal for couples who’d like to enjoy a romantic dinner together in the privacy of a dome under the stars when the sun goes down."

The hotel reopened on Monday May 17, after the national Covid restrictions were eased.

Mr Grant continued: "We’ve recently launched our exciting new all day dining, afternoon tea, a–la–carte dinner, tasting and vegan tasting menus under the passionate and celebrated leadership of our new head chef, Gordon Smillie and our food and beverage manager, John Simpson.

"Guests can select their preferred dining option when they make a ‘Dine@Dome’ booking and the experience can be as casual or as formal as our guests would prefer with all our guests enjoying attentive but discrete service from our award-winning team.

The hotel is a member of the Blue Light Scheme for members of the emergency services, NHS, social care sector and armed forces who have worked tirelessly on the front line throughout the Covid–19 pandemic with substantial discounts on all our food, beverage and accommodation offerings.
