ROSS-SHIRE performers in rehearsal for trailblazing performances at a quirky Dingwall venue have been given a major confidence weeks ahead of the first show.

All available tickets for A Highland Nativity by Dingwall Players have been snapped up just two weeks after being made available.

The tickets were offered free of charge but needed to be booked in advance.

The shows from December 16 to 18 will be staged at Dingwall Mart and will also feature seasonal songs from Dingwall Gaelic Choir, Black Isle Gaelic Choir and Dingwall & District Choral Society.

All is not lost for anyone without a ticket however as it will also be livestreamed via the group's Facebook page.

The Players' Nick Fearne said he was hoping for "something quite different and very exciting”.
