A SUPERSTAR DJ is set to rock an iconic Ross-shire venue next year with tickets already being snapped up quickly.

Strathpeffer Pavilion Community Trust (SPCT) has announced Dave Pearce will headline uts first fundraising gig of 2022.

Pearce first first came to national prominence in the mid 90s creating the cult BBC Radio 1 show Dance Anthems which he presented for 13 years attracting record audiences of millions of listeners.

He has been a driving force of the UK dance scene for many years and is best known for his uplifting, energetic “big room “sets.

SPCT said: "We are delighted to make our first announcement of our first fundraising gig of 2022, and as part of the SPCT Big birthday weekend."

The show is set for Saturday, March 5, 2022.

Support comes from Ramie Gold and Alastair Mcloughlin with more expected to be announced.

It added: "We are delighted to say as always the venue's sound and lighting team will be pulling out all the stop to provide the best trance anthems music experience ever."
