PUPILS at an Easter Ross primary school hit the right note with judges of a music festival with another top-notch performance.

Craighill Primary School choir has again made its mark at Inverness Music Festival.

The choir, under musical director Emily Bond, performed their own take on the Mamas and Papas' classic California Dreamin’ in The Kingsmill Trophy P4-7 Choral against another six schools.

The choir took first place with distinction.

The choir has a habit of hitting the high notes in the competition having won the trophy last year with a showstopper from the musical Matilda.
