BREAKING: Police presence in Easter Ross town of Tain following disturbance

POLICE were called at a property in Tain earlier this afternoon following reports of disturbance and concern for a man.

UPDATE: Man arrested after reported disturbance in Tain

Officers arrived on the scene on Burgage Drive and part of the street has been cordoned off, with police still present.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.25pm on Wednesday May 17, police received a report of a disturbance and concern for a man at a property in the Burgage Drive area of Tain.

"Officers remain at the scene and enquiries are ongoing. There is no threat to the wider public.”
