A MAN has been arrested following an incident earlier today in an Easter Ross town.

As earlier reported, police attended an address in Tain's Burgage Drive and, for a period, cordoned off a surrounding road.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.25pm on Wednesday, May 17 May, 2023, police received a report of a disturbance and concern for a man at a property in the Burgage Drive area of Tain.

“Officers attended and a 44-year-old man was arrested.”
