BREAKING NEWS: Three people confirmed dead in road accident on A9 at the Slochd in the Highlands

Police Scotland have just confirmed that three people have died following a road crash on the A9 at Slochd Summit earlier today.

A force spokesperson said: "Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the collision.

"The road is currently closed and diversions are in place."
